Just incase you didnt know Prince Caspian got bumped from winter 2007 to summer 2008 to avoid competition with another fantasy movie called "the water horse" or something. so you might want to update.

Re: Prince Caspian

I read "The Magician's Nephew" yesterday for the first time, and the copyright dates for all 7 books seems to indicated that Lewis wrote them almost in a random order.

Re: Prince Caspian

Prince Caspian is Book 2, NOT 3, in the 7 book series-- assuming one is looking at the order in which they were written. Chronological order-- in terms of story line -- puts Prince Caspian in 4th position; Thusly....

The Magician's Nephew
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Horse and His Boy
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle

I read this very same article and was appalled that a "professional" writer couldn't get the details of his story straight. Mistakes like this irk me to no end... Probably because I see these same kind of mistakes every day where I work.

Re: Prince Caspian

The seventh book was written as a "prequel" to the other six. While some people list it as the first book and recommend reading it before the others, I found it much more interesting to read after you already know the rest of the story.

Re: Prince Caspian

Huh... I knew the "Lion" movie wasn't the first book but I didn't know they were written out of order, too.

Re: Prince Caspian

Part 3??? Taken in the order the books were written, I'd say we're right on track.
